About the Tenancy Practice Service

Scotney Williams is one of the few people in the country with a deep understanding of the intricacies of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986, the Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 1996, the Residential Tenancies Rules and Regulations. He is currently consulted as an advisor on Tenancy and Property Management issues. After completing his law degree, Scotney practiced law in Auckland for several years with local law firms. He 1975 he took up an appointment with the Hong Kong Government, in the Legal Aid Department, to gain overseas experience.
